It's not a lightweight version of what you're used to; it's the same thing, just compressed and shipped to you quickly and free!
In addition to a strong (13.75 gauge) individually-wrapped pocket coil system, this model boasts CoolingGel memory foam (making it a "hybrid" bed), an open design that guarantees airflow and cushioning-but-strong OmniSense Comfort foam. This entire mattress is designed and made in the USA.
The Lawndale Firm has all CertiPUR-US foams that don't contain hazardous chemicals or other materials.

Lawndale Firm - Luxury Bed in a Box There isn't anything negative that can be said about the Lawndale Firm. Luxury Firm has become American's favorite feel; firmer foams with a soft but cradling coil system. This isn't going to sleep like the floor but it's going to have ample firmness for just about anyone. It's going to ship to you free (and quickly) and also, it's completely made in the USA! For the price tag, there aren't many mattress models out there matching up. Great value and a very reliable and innovative manufacturer.
