The buildup of the Crestview Custom Classic 10" is more dedicated to your comfort and the longevity of the mattress than it is to citing gaudy specs and flashy numbers. Keeping the same amount of gel-infused memory foam as the Custom Classic 8", the manufacturer has added a 3" layer of Transitional Foam; solidifying your mattress's integrity and giving a slightly firmer feel, due to the lack of 'sink'. (That layer is in between your base and the gel foam on top).  It's hard to gauge each person's experience in terms of 'firmness' when rating a memory foam mattress but, we'd put the feel of this one in the 'medium' range.

When shopping for a custom memory foam mattress, the best most people will find is a product made only in the most common odd sizes (ie, "short queen", "RV full") - so, what they usually receive is (by definition) a mass-produced so-so mattress. The Custom Classic models (just like the other lines Michigan Discount Mattress carries) are made-to-order, inspected and only then custom cut, to your needed size. That process alone offers a bit more quality control than anything else you will find. These are also CertiPUR-US foams, they're assembled in America and their covers are removable and washable. Lots of perks for a cheaply-priced memory foam mattress. Gel-infused memory foam keeps the bed relatively cool and the array of heights (8",10",12",14") ensure that you'll find something to fit your specific needs.
