Catherine Extra Firm - Pocket Coil Mattress

I've had a bad back since the mid-1960s. Anyone who reads these knows that I prefer a firm mattress set. It's very rare that I find a mattress that's firm enough to truly support my spine - that also feels soft enough to fall asleep on. Corsicana has managed to live up to my particular needs with the Catherine Extra Firm.

Maybe the secret is the pocket coil system within. While flat on my back, this mattress is very solid and doesn't really give at all. When I go to my side, the pocket coils react and fit to my body a bit.

I raise my monacle for this one because it's got the heavy, strong build of mattresses of old and, it's not priced out of my personal range. Also, it's got foam encasement around the edges so there is no worry of side-to-side motion transfer, bounce or sagging sides.
